SUFFOCATION Featured In THE HISTORY CHANNEL Promo Spot; Video Available
January 20, 2007The History Channel's promo spot to advertise their upcoming show "The Dark Ages", featuring legendary New York death metallers SUFFOCATION performing their original track "Bind, Torture, Kill", has been posted online at this location.
Shot on location at the Greenpoint Terminal in Brooklyn, New York by director Michael Scalere, the spot took one week to produce from concept to finished product.
"The Dark Ages", a two-hour overview of the thousand years after the fall of Rome, is set to air March 4 on The History Channel.
SUFFOCATION recently unveiled the group's first video, for the track "Abomination Reborn", from their self-titled album. The clip was shot in Brooklyn, NY with director Frankie Nasso (MUDVAYNE, HATEBREED, MISERY INDEX) and producers Dale Resteghini and Melissa Manousos of Raging Nations Films. "Suffocation" saw its North American release on September 19, 2006 via Relapse Records. An e-card previewing "Suffocation", featuring the tracks "Abomination Reborn" and "Blind Torture Kill", can be accessed at this location.
